How to create your own Card Deck Affordably

This workshop will go over how to create a card deck for under £1000 without professional illustration skill, including images, text, printing and self publication.

It is relevant for:

  • Oracle card deck

  • Tarot deck

  • Affirmation Card deck

  • Card decks with single image on all the backs or unique on both sides

What is covered:

  • Research the size of deck, printing parameters most appropriate for you

  • Finding the appropriate printer according to budget

  • Sourcing or creating Images on Canva, using images you already have

  • Layout your fronts and backs on according to vision and print templates

  • Overview of decks with or without guidebooks

  • Getting your cards printed according to budget

  • Platforms for publishing and selling your decks

  • Assess what is possible with the current budget available to you

  • When to promote your decks and overview of options to do so

What you need:

  • Canva account (ideally professional subscription) but free version also works. Creating a Canva account will be done together in the workshop.

  • Computer and internet connection

  • Your ideas and inspiration.
